Reproductive tract infections and menstrual taboos disproportionately affect adolescent girls and women residing in unorganized waste-picker settlements. Lack of affordable hygiene products often forces reliance on unhygienic alternatives.

Doctor-Led Clinical Workshops In collaboration with medical volunteers like Dr. Arushi and health initiatives such as Sirona, WWF conducts regular menstrual hygiene awareness sessions. Women and adolescent girls receive clinical education on reproductive health, sanitation, and disease prevention.

Sustainable Cloth Pad Distribution During these camps, participants receive high-quality, washable, eco-friendly cloth sanitary pads alongside hygiene flyers. By combining direct material support with open medical counseling, the intervention creates lasting health improvements and restores dignity.
